Seems like just yesterday when I did my last post here about getting back into the grind and keeping my website updated. Here it is December and I am just making a effort -LOL. Been a little busy helping others to shine.

My buddy DJ Tank needed some help with his “Operation Open Decks” party at Northern Lights Lounge. Tank has been working that night for a few years and it is a wonderful concept, but it hasn’t been popping. A multi-talented individual named Noel and me are doing an assist to hopefully make it a happening spot on Tuesday Nights.

Seems that one of the Originators of Detroit Techno wanted to start his own DJ Residency with something different here in his hometown. After moving it around at a few venues in November seems we have found the right spot at the New ReLiv Nightclub (645 Shelby @ Congress – Downtown Detroit).

Billed as “XM (Xperimental Music) – Disco, Techno, House, Abstract Grooves & More”, I guess I am becoming the “unofficial” opening DJ when I am not running around handling the business end of things. I like it because it give me a chance to play different stuff and dig deep back into the classic.

Sometime you have to get out of the clubs and bars and into the real world. I don’t do many Mobile gigs anymore but this is one I am looking forward to. NING Society does their events “Real Right” and I am proud to be their new DJ for their events.

The crowd is good and receptive and once we musically connect it makes for a good night.

Looking forward to stepping up the game in 2010 and the end of this Year has been a great start.

Serato Wallpaper and Desktop Pictures

A recent post on the Serato Scratch Live Forum had a number of complaints about broken links to some very cool Serato Desktop pictures that could be used as Wallpaper or a Desktop Picture on your DJ Computer.

The iPhone has truly become a computer in your pocket. Just wanted to see how difficult (or easy) it is to create posts with the WordPress iPhone app.

Seems to be working so far, this should make things easier.

October is here and it is getting colder which means more time indoors and on the computer. I just hit delete on all the old outdated pages on my Blog, just “re-themed” it with a fresh new look, so it’s time to get busy (again).

I have been helping others get their “life on the Internet” in order, like my Niece who has developed a nice website to showcase her career as a Abstract Artist. She is coming along nicely with her website so she made me “step up the game” and get mines in order.

Technology has advanced with things like the WordPress iPhone App, Twitter, Facebook, and other stuff so I should enough random stuff to keep the Blog alive and hopefully interesting. We will see how it goes this time….
