Serato Wallpaper and Desktop Pictures

A recent post on the Serato Scratch Live Forum had a number of complaints about broken links to some very cool Serato Desktop pictures that could be used as Wallpaper or a Desktop Picture on your DJ Computer.

I threw together a quick webpage with all the various Serato Scratch Live Desktop Pictures and Wallpapers that I had collected over the years.

Check it out here.ssl wallpaper 22

As time goes on, I’m hoping to create and archive some new Wallpapers & Desktop Pics for Serato DJ (formerly ITCH), Serato Video, and maybe even Mix Emergency.

Also check out the Serato Drive Icons page (thanks Dawn) for custom Hard drive icons for your Mac.

Deep Space Radio flashback from Kraftwerk Party back in October

Deep Space Radio is re-broadcasting the audio from that Kraftwerk Afterparty back in October. My set was included in the rotation. I still need to see if I can get a copy of the set so I can post up here on my website.

The Detroit Free Press posted some pics and coverage of the event:

Nice written review of the concert and afterparty in XLR8R magazine here:

I need to start doing mixes on the regular for Deep Space Radio – it is one of my 2016 New Years Eve resolutions. Of course I will archive links to the mixes here on my website.

Take a listen to the station. Deep Space Radio broadcasts 24/7 –

Deep House Mix for

An old DJ Buddy – Chris Anthony has been trying to get me to do a guest mix for his website – for a minute. It has been a long time since I spun some Deep and Classic House so I put aside the 2Chainz, Drake, and mainstream music for a minute to flex some House Music. Leave me a comment and let me know if I did ok or should get back to the ratchet rap – lol.

Serato Audio: Scratch Sentence & Control CD

Seems that I have created a little Mini Archive of Serato stuff so i may as well link to some other things that Serato Scratch Live users frequently look for.

For those of you that use Serato Scratch Live with CDJs – the Time Code Control CD can be downloaded on the Serato Website: Serato Time Code Control CD

Back in the day, Serato and Rane included a “Scratch Sentence” with your purchase that included various samples so you could practice scratching. The topic of where to find the Scratch Sentence still comes up on the forum from time to time.

Last active link I saw was here: “Mr. Nice’s Plastic Bombs

Cool to know – Go back to iOS5 from iOS6 on iPhone

How to Downgrade Back to iPhone iOS 5 Restore iPhone software

With all the disappointment over Apple’s new Mobile Operating System upgrade (people are very disappointed in Apple Maps and other new features), I ran across this on on how to revert from Apple iOS6 back down to Apple iOS5.

    Downgrade your iPhone/iPad

Go to know on how to get your iOS 6 device back to working on iOS 5.

New iPhone dilemma? 4S vs 5

Apple released the new iPhone 5 and I need to make a decision if I want to make a big pricy hop of $199 to the new iPhone 5 or go for the proven inexpensive iPhone 4S for $99 (or less).

Apple rolled out the new mobile Operating System for iPhone iOS which runs on both phones so the new OS shouldn’t influence my decision much (early reports say Apple Maps is horrible and Apple Passbook is a mystery as to how it actually works).

I guess I’ll have to study the Compare some more and see how the iPhone 5 and 4S stack up against my iPhone 4. I’ll also try and hit the Apple Retail Store sometime this week and try and do a “hands on” and see what I’ll miss if I don’t go with the iPhone 5.

In the upcoming days/weeks I’ll also post little snippets of information here that I run across on the web to help me make my decision.

Website update time again (really this time)

    Dot Mac Moving Box

Apple’s Mobile Me & .Mac discontinued for iCloud

Apple is discontinuing Mobile Me and wants users to upgrade to Apple iCloud but there are a few Apps that I can’t live without yet and I guess they will not work if I upgrade my current Mac to 10.7 Lion (or Mountain Lion even…).

My only iDevice of the moment, my iPhone would be nice on iCloud but I don’t really listen to music on my phone (other than i heart radio) so I guess I’ll be ok.

One problem is all my old Dot Mac Websites will go away (some need to). I guess over the next few weeks I’ll try and save them and redo them by hand and move them here on this website.

I guess while I am at it, I may as well clean up the blog and freshen up a few of the other static pages of mines out there on the Internet.

Yep, that is the plan … Really this time…

    Back on the Blog…

Pen & PaperOctober is here and it is getting colder which means more time indoors and on the computer. I just hit delete on all the old outdated pages on my Blog, just “re-themed” it with a fresh new look, so it’s time to get busy (again).

I have been helping others get their “life on the Internet” in order, like my Niece who has developed a nice website to showcase her career as a Abstract Artist. She is coming along nicely with her website so she made me “step up the game” and get mines in order.

Technology has advanced with things like the WordPress iPhone App, Twitter, Facebook, and other stuff so I should enough random stuff to keep the Blog alive and hopefully interesting. We will see how it goes this time….
